Associate Lawyer – Rudner MacDonald LLP
Brittany is an Associate at Rudner MacDonald LLP, a boutique law firm specializing in Canadian Employment Law.
She advises employees and employers in all areas of employment law, including unjust and wrongful dismissal complaints as well as human rights complaints. She also works with employers to draft and implement human resource policies.
Brittany also represents clients in both court and tribunals. In particular, she has assisted senior counsel in all stages of litigation leading to the successful and cost-effective defence of wrongful dismissals, disability benefits claims and human rights complaints. She has also successfully assisted senior counsel with unjust dismissal complaints before the federal government.
Brittany is a member of the Canadian Marketing Association: Toronto chapter, acting as a member of the AODA Advisory Committee and helping to raise awareness of, and compliance with, the AODA in the area of digital accessibility.
She is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, obtaining her Honours Bachelor of Arts degree with distinction, as well as a double major in English and Classical Studies. Brittany graduated from the University of Western Ontario Faculty of Law, obtaining her Juris Doctor with distinction, in 2012.
Prior to joining Rudner MacDonald LLP, Brittany completed her articles and practiced at a leading Toronto law firm. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2013.
